Opportunities
North American Outdoor Adventure is looking for individuals for full and
part time summer positions. We are seeking individuals that have a strong
guest service personality and the ability to work on a range of different
tasks. Individuals should have excellent communication skills as well
as the ability, and desire to work with the public. North American Outdoor
Adventure is located in West Forks, Maine. With the opening of our new
base lodge, this spring, we are looking for qualified and energetic individuals
to staff positions that include whitewater guiding, food and beverage,
guest services, ATV guiding, and Rock Wall staff.
Whitewater Rafting Guides - Maine and Massachusetts
Train
with North American Whitewater to be a whitewater guide on our wild New
England rivers. Training starts in April (Connecticut) and May
and June for (Massachusetts and Maine). Training is done on select weekends. The guide school prepares individuals
to guide rafts in Maine and Massachusetts and for the Maine Whitewater Guide License. All trainees must be at least
18 years old. CPR and First Aid is required.
A
whitewater guide is one who enjoys the outdoors, interaction with people
and a lot of hard work. Qualified guides will be hired for full or part
time work during the season (if mutually desired)
Located
in West Forks, Maine the Kennebec and Dead River provide world class whitewater
at our doorstep. North American can train you to be a qualified and licensed
river guide. Let our experienced staff teach you the skills needed to
be an expert at River Reading, Boat Handling, and Guest Services.
2008 Guide Training Dates
Maine June June 28- July 5th Massachusetts May 31st – June 1
Although full training starts in May and June, all candidates are welcome to
join us on the Housatonic River in Kent, Connecticut during the weekends
in April. North American will be preparing individuals to guide rafts on all rivers and for guides in Maine for the State of
Maine guide test. For additional information on State requirements refer

Lake Moxie Camps and Campground
Spend an fun an exciting summer on Lake Moxie overseeing our campground and cabin rentals. Lake Moxie Camps is a small yet very busy campground. We are looking for a organized, pleasant, positive and energetic multi tasker. Maintenance and mechanical skill a plus ! Room and limited board provided. Interested individuals

Services / Sales
We are seeking positive and energetic individuals to work in a number
of guest services positions. Responsibilities include guest check-in,

ATV
and Recreational Guiding
The past two years North American Outdoor Adventure has been the first
and only outfitter to offer ATV rentals. All rentals are guided trips.
Due to rapid growth we are looking for additional qualified ATV guides.
Individuals must have a Maine Recreational Guide license, understanding
of ATV mechanics and excellent guest relation skills. We encourage all

Wall Staff
North American Outdoor Adventure will be opening a new Base lodge with
a 34ft indoor climbing wall. We are looking for qualified and energetic
